Not Included: Artisan Products; Fundraising Items; Miscellaneous Small Items.
HVBH Membership FAQ
When did the new membership program start? On our third anniversary - November 29, 2024.
How do I sign up? Come to the store to sign up and get your membership card. You may also call the store (914-847-0773) and purchase over the phone.
Do I need to always show my membership card? No. We can look you up by your name.
How long does my membership last? One calendar year, with renewals starting on January 1, 2026
What if I sign up in the middle of the year? Your membership fee will be pro-rated.
What store discount do I receive? 10% for $50 membership and 15% for $100 membership
What other benefits come with membership? Several free preloved book coupons at signup, and early notification about our many bookstore events
What items are included in the membership discount? Books (new, preloved, and rare); Vinyl; Paper Goods (cards, stationery items, art supplies, journals and notebooks, calendars, and gift bags/wrapping); Toys, Games and Puzzles (new and preloved); and Tote Bags
What items are not included in the discount? Artisan Items (pottery, jewelry, leather goods, blankets, framed pictures, maps); Green Ossining and other Fundraising items; and Small Items (pins, magnets, stickers, bookmarks, body products, candles, electronic items, and holiday items)
