OAC “Text as Art” Show Reception

Celebrate the artists who have contributed to the Ossining Arts Council's inaugural "Text as Art" exhibition.

On Sunday, November 10, 4-6 PM, we will gather artists, art lovers, and literary enthusiasts alike to celebrate creativity and community. Whether you're a seasoned art collector or a curious newcomer, this exhibition promises a fresh perspective on how words and images can coalesce to form powerful expressions of human thought and emotion.

This unique show, which runs from November 9 to November 17, features a diverse collection of artworks that integrate text as a fundamental element, ranging from delicately hand-written notes to boldly printed text and curious found ephemera. This exhibition not only highlights the aesthetic power of text but also its ability to convey deep meanings and stories.

Artwork Pricing: The "Text as Art" exhibition features an inclusive range of artwork prices, making it accessible for both new collectors and seasoned art enthusiasts. With pieces starting as low as $65 and up to $600, attendees can find captivating artworks within their budget. Prices reflect the diversity and creativity of our artists, with select pieces marked as Not For Sale (NFS) or Price On Request (POR), emphasizing the unique value and irreplaceable nature of these works.

This event is free and open to the public. Please let us know you’re coming so we can plan accordingly!
